Blood Line, by lance Subscribe to rss feed for lance

Our blood be the same
but our hearts are afret
to be claimed as my own i'm
no longer a threat

i don't answer to your name
or your face i go on my own
to settle a place where i kno i'd
feel safe i plant my flag in
the ground and salute with grace

family turns and slowly walks away
you can't control me so please don't
stay a sovergn land of free i shall
live you have kept taking i wanted to give

march on to the drums as they beat only for
you keep walking you know our time is
through a ballad i place to remember your
name but i'm no longer a pawn in your
silly game

my land where my grave now lies don't come
any closer to mend your goodbyes
just say we was once strong and true

i now lay here sleeping because of you.
