The darkness lives
The darkness breaths
But the thing to remember is
The darkness bleeds

It sits in the pit of the night
Always searching for that one bit of light

It leaves a hole of pain and sorrow
To bleed as if there is no tomorrow

As it sits in the wake of the night
The day begins to turn to light

Hope is here fear is gone
The scars remain the deed is done

The darkness lives
The darkness breaths
The darkness consumes you
And leaves you to bleed
