Discarded Memories, by Unintended Subscribe to rss feed for Unintended

Seductive images cleansed your mind
It freed your heart
Amazed your quiet ego
You ran and blurred my vision

It was once beautiful
Bursting with hope
Defying the odds
Leading the way to eternal joy

Something unknown visited you
I slept while it brainwashed you
You couldn't be found
In vain I searched for my future

I listened for unspoken words
Degradation accompanying your screams
Nothing positive hid behind your silence
Every verbal attack was all you meant

It no longer lies in your head or heart
So where have you hid the memories?
Perhaps in your dirt bin
Your trash but no-ones treasure

i get the sense that this is about a guy who changed while you were dating? neither the less, i love it how you give a clear picture within the readers mind
