There are moments you just want to end
to vanish away and never come back
to fade and not leave a mark

Why?

Cause the moment hurts too much
makes you want to cry
makes you writhe in pain
but the hurt is hidden
making it all the worst

Wanting to scream out
for help
for comfort
to feel loved
and secure.

But then there are moments that you don't want to end,
to carry on forever and fill up your heart,
to forever breathe in and live there.

Why?

Cause the moment is so sweet
makes you want to smile
makes you want to melt
and the effect of your heart lighting up
is just as visible on the outside

Wanting to sink in,
bask in,
stay there,
in the moment
in hope of it never ending

Moments are different everyday
and I'm just hoping they are like
the last said,
something worth remembering
