November Dream, by TimidTragedy Subscribe to rss feed for TimidTragedy

Twas moonlight on the frozen lake, a picture postcard
scene.
As here and there they skate in pairs, on this cool November
eve.
I saw you skating all alone and as you passed by me,

my heart stood still, such loveliness, my sweet November
dream.

Twas magical, that moonlight, filtered through the trees,

creating such a world about, my heart on my sleeve.
You moved with such perfection, your eyes, how they
gleamed.

At last you'd come into my world, my sweet November dream.

Upon a star I wished that night, if it could only be,
That you, perhaps, could look my way, fulfill my destiny?
I'd waited so long for you, you were there so close to me.
A Christmas gift, a month too soon, my sweet November
dream.

My heart beat wild with longing, no more could I wait.
You may not pass my way again, the hour was getting late.
I introduced myself to you, my love, where had you been?

An angel on a pair of skates, my sweet November dream.

Your smile was bright, so full of warmth, as you spoke to
me.
I knew you were the very one, I loved you instantly.
We moved as one across the lake, I held you close to me.
It was love beneath a winter sky, my sweet November dream

This is amazing. I love how you made it seem mystical. ( : keep writing.
