Twisted, by suzieQ Subscribe to rss feed for suzieQ

My heart it twists and turns
It pulls me this way and that
A fire within me starts to burn
And I can't tell fiction from fact

The first one tugging, a love so zealous
A love I lost, and won
He has moved on, and I am jealous
He may as well draw out a gun

The second is a friend, oh god
Who claims to love me and I cringe
This idiot, this silly sod
Is setting our friendship to fringe

The third is a friend and sister
I don't know her too well anymore
This ignorance is now a blister
And I have lost our bond at the core

These three loves, pulling me around
Are going to be my destined demise
Unless a solution can be found
But so far, I see no prize

So my once big heart is now a pulp
It has been twisted and squished
The tears I hold back cause a choke
This is not the fate I wished

i apologize for breeding such a wasteful emotion as jealousy... rarely do we get the fate we wish for sadly enough

we can't all be numb to jealousy. and if we all got the fate we wished, the world would be considerably different. better or worse who knows

i am not numb to jealousy, it simply never strikes me, i do not feel jealousy ever... and i am sorry for causing it within you
