zebra, by Clarevoyant Subscribe to rss feed for Clarevoyant

there are zebra in my bathroom -
watching me
from their watering hole.
four, faceless, asphalt colored women dance
beneath a low hanging fuschia, blue orange sun
before a watercolored lavender, pink and tangerine sky.
opposite them are mountains decorated with snow and
greenland trampled by capricious horses
as some white boy talks shit about harmony, nature
and the mexicans next door.

until I can get some privacy,
i’ll keep the throw rug trimmed,
feed the animals,
offer the ladies something cool to drink
and conduct the toilette in the dark.
