Tired, by Lyric912

Life,
A light in a dark tunnel in which shes been walking all of
her existence
Never really understanding the meaning of her existence
Only that shes here
Here in a place that doesn’t accept her anymore than her
white father
That sees her as just another spot on his shoe
Another bone in his closet
Another ,tax write off when its convenient
See but none of that matters anymore
See because that light is her salvation
A solution to her situation
A stop to the pain
See she finally figured it out
If I pull this trigger
Or drink this poison
Maybe hang myself with some of the stained rags that have
been covered with my fears
Then maybe
Just maybe it will finally be about me
Maybe for once someone will look in my face without thinking
about that thing below my waste
Maybe for once someone will smile when memories of me are
mentioned
Maybe for once someone else will cry
Because im tired
Tired of sleepless nights when uncle roger wanted to be
touched
And countless days when mommy needed her little helper to
make her feel better
Im just tired
And all I want to do
Is turn off this damn light |
