Caution, by Tyler Cedric Golden Subscribe to rss feed for Tyler Cedric Golden

All it said was caution; it didn’t say no passing
through……

So we did what are liberty allows, and walked right
through,
But we should’ve paid more attention, to what was warned,
Because now every morning and night I mourn,
Missing you each and every day,
I thought we would make it, all of the way,
But now you are gone, for we didn’t pay attention to the
sign,
Now I hold your heart within mine,
For all time,
Even though so painful it feels,
And appears unreal,
I know, killing myself isn’t an option,
But next time I pass through, I will listen to that one
deadening word: Caution.

Well I as a writer am dealing with issues and I couldn't bring my self to this site without providing another poem. I'm into a new stage of creativity on the moral coast line. These poems are full of emotion in the most realistic form. Hope you can check my newest post soon. This poem surprised me, it was a clear abstract poem. You lingered on the thought of caution then you showed the loss you felt before returning to the main point. Very nice. Felicia Mac
