Lynus and Tyme, always in hiding.
They never come out, they don't give good tiding.
They never step out, for a fresh breath of air.
They don't open the door, they wouldn't dare.
Why, you ask, do they stay locked inside?
Why, you wonder, when you let light in, they cried?
I'll tell you why, they fear to step out.
Why they don't want to go out and about.
Because of poor little Afron, the small little girl.
With bright soft golden hair that would curl.
The one everyone loved, who had such rosy cheeks.
The one that's been gone for weeks and weeks.
Where is she, you ask? I'll tell you, don't worry.
Someone slipped poison into her chocolate curry.
Lynus and Tyme, how they watched in pure horror,
As her blue eyes got big, and her head hit the floor.
As she took her last breath, everyone knew,
That life wasn't so good, there was nothing they could do.
They saw that around every corner, behind every door,
Lurked a hidden danger, they could not ignore.
So next time you go outside to walk or to run.
Remember poor Afron, Lynus and Tyme, and what was done.
Remember that life, is not what it seems.
That what you are told is nothing but dreams.
Sweet little things that exist in your head.
You should never forget, the horibble dread,
That haunts Lynus and Tyme every day.
Just remember to keep those nightmares at bay.
