Our Own Oblivious State of Evil., by Tyler Cedric Golden Subscribe to rss feed for Tyler Cedric Golden

In this anger, this absolute uprising rage,
I try to hold it back, but it ferociously tears through the
cage
And shows its' true power, and proves that I have no
self-control,
Every time I try to grab a hold,
My grip slowly slips, and finally it's released,
The result of this, is the dark summoning of this beast,
That hides within us all,
And approaches our surface, right before we fall,
Then when we slip, it wraps around our bodies as all
patience is lost,
Once this is let go, we all pay the cost,
This darkness and hate, crawls all over our souls like
beetles,
And it shows in everyone, our own oblivious state of evil.

Now this is a well written piece of work ...well in my opinion at least. Its really showing a set of emotions that you were feeling and really expressing it way to the reader. Its like your telling events in your life as well as connecting with others, showing them at you've felt what they are feeling. "That hides within us all" "And it shows in everyone" Well done

Yes ... and concerning a post you left me about liking dark poetry and death. I would just like to share something i found a couple days ago. You can look up the hole poem if you like its called Johnnie's poem by Alden Nowlan ....i like the last part "you writ poems about what you feel deepest and hardest" and its true ...i guess it so happens that i feel deepest about death(not that its a good thing) But i do enjoy lots of other poetry
