Dusk Till Dawn, by Acushla Subscribe to rss feed for Acushla

From dusk till dawn I lie awake
Pushing forbidden thoughts out of my mind.
What blind force has possessed me
And controls even my heart which beats frantically now?
Images. These vivid images flow smoothly
As I reach out to hold you
But I am quickly dragged down to reality;
A hard fall from the heavens where we sat together.
I fell in love with an angel tonight,
But I cannot seem to find my way back to paradise.
Violently I scour the lanes of my memory;
Sleepless I lay, desperately trying to find you.
