Soulmate, by Caitlin_Californication Subscribe to rss feed for Caitlin_Californication

Swaying on the inside I feel your music flow through my
veins.
Smoother than velvet, your words are my blood.

As cliche as is sounds, your love is my life.
When you're away I can't breathe, the world is colorless.

I let myself fall into love with no reservations, there's no
going back now.

Please be gentle with my heart it is still swollen and
cracked around its edges.

Time heals all wounds but life will carve the memories back
in again, until death do they part.

Sadness weighs on my soul, loneliness silences my cries, all
I can do is sit alone, cold and still, in my mind I'm with
you.

Can't answer the phone, you are my voice, can't fall asleep
you are my comfort, can't eat, you are all I want to taste.

All the wonders in the world amount to dust, if I can't
share them with you.

Perfection is naked in your arms calm, even breathing as we
drift off knotted together in your bed.

Two bodies, minds, souls, hearts intertwined into one being,
never to be torn apart or forgotten. You are my soul mate,
forever.
