there was girl on the cliff 
the hill that shined brightly at dawn
she waited for something she could not say
she just sat there and looked at bay
all her thoughts floated in air
it was her pain that she could not bear 
she couldn't fight away her tears 
she just kept looking out 
banishing all her fears
her hair fell down from its messy bun
she wanted to cry as in the past she's done
taking a deep breathe 
she just lets it go 
her tears they fall in a gracful flow
she looks up at the bay
waters play with nothing to say 
she doesn't know what to do
she wants her heart not to be split in two.
