MY QUEST, by Ivy Jordan
|
I began my quest to search for truth
I started to unveil my identity first
And went on for a mile
Open my heart to the people I love
Some refuse to interact
I reveal my true character but what do I get
Hasty and nasty remarks
I go for my dreams and reach for it
Some did not like the idea
I tried to stretch myself for a man
But it did not work
So I tried writing it out
Not to let my feelings hurt
