Crowned, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

I can only watch
your breaking heart
for you won’t let go
of mine.
A violent percussion,
muted but persistent,
I wish you’d say
goodbye.
I can not run
for I have tried
but I was only tracing
circles.

//You have the key, I’m waiting here
chained to the throne you made me.
Jewels won’t sate nor storms abate
and I just can’t be your baby.//

There are two paths,
one is lit
but I do not know
the way.
The other’s dark,
an inky descent
as familiar to me
as air.
I can only wait
for a shift of gravity
to save me from
destruction.

//You have the knife, I’m choking here,
strangled by the ropes you gave me.
Time won’t abide nor tearstains hide
and I just can’t be your baby.//

I can only watch
your breaking heart
for you won’t let go
of mine.

Is this a song? If so, it would be a good one. Great work.
