Angel, by Acerbated Subscribe to rss feed for Acerbated

You were my angel
Sent from the heavens above
You were caring, loving, trusted
I was told of what could be the future
It seemed so sweet, so desired
Images were put into my mind, image of happy times
What were those times, but just a bunch of lies
We were supposed to be together, then and forever
But what were we really, just an illusion
All those hopes and dreams
Just to stay a fantasy
Never to come true, at least not with you
You were the predator; I, the prey
Such the angel, you were not
The demon from my dreams, you stole my innocence
You invaded my being, took over
How could this have happened?
