My Child, by *~Mik@y1@~* Subscribe to rss feed for *~Mik@y1@~*

Hush my child,
Listen to me.
There are some things you need to see.

Calm down my child,
Be very still.
Things will change, I know they will.

Smile brightly my child,
And warm each day.
In time, more things will go your way.

Don't fret my child,
A new day draws near.
Soon the stormy skies will clear.

Don't cry my child,
Wipe your tears away.
I'm here for you, and here I'll stay.

Cheer up my child,
Don't walk in the dark.
If your light goes out, I'll light a spark.

Keep your head up my child,
You're much too pretty to look down.
I'm with you always, I'll forever be around.

Continue dreaming my child,
Don't let your hopes fade.
Your dreams are much too precious to trade.

Don't give up my child,
Continue to try.
Live your life to its fullest and don't let it pass you by.

Don't change my child,
Be who you are.
Don't try to be different, you're a shining star.

Let go my child,
And you will see,
What it feels like to truly be free.

My child, my child,
Stay close to me,
And under my protection you will always be. ©
