A Beautiful Place, by April Mae Cinq-Mars Subscribe to rss feed for April Mae Cinq-Mars

As I stepped onto the white warm sand,
Walking along the crystal blue ocean,
holding his hand
Feeling the ocean mist
on my faceā€¦
I thought to myself
What a beautiful place!
We found the perfect spot,
and sat on our blanket,
taking in the sea air
sounds of waves breaking
along the shore
Relaxed our bodies and soul
As the hours just went by,
You could see the sun slowly
dropping from the sky
As the sun got ready to set,
it looked as if resting slightly on the ocean,
As colors of reds, orange, and pink filled the sky,
magically nature was in motion
and in that breif moment,
it looked like a beautiful
work of art on a wall,
As the sun continues to fall,
Being swallowed by the ocean's wave's,
as they rolled high,
Soon the moon
will light up the night sky.
Overwhelmed
by this breath taking work of art
the artist, Mother Nature,
painted for me and my love
I could not help
but to shed a tear
for it's beauty, was amazing
