I Miss You, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

It's just another fractured shard of silence to shred the
hope between us,
It's just another freezing cold moment to endure.
And I know exactly how this breakdown came to be,
But I still don't know how to revert to the way it was
before.

And I miss you, I miss the past,
Tears blur the present blue.
I miss the way words could be used,
To lift each other through.
And I miss the warmth I haven't felt,
For a very bitter while.
I miss you, I miss me,
And I really miss your smile.

Just seeing you look at me from a new terrifying place,
Makes it harder still for me to hold my painful tears.
And I don't know how to fix this because I've already
tried,
And together we shouted knives through all the repairs.

But I miss you, I miss the bond,
That once held us so tight.
I miss the way we understood,
And how we'd never fight.
I can't make it any more simple,
For you to decode my style.
I miss you, I miss me,
And I really miss your smile.

There's nothing,
Nothing I can do.
I'm screaming it at you,
And it echoes back.
I don't want to break you,
Don't want to hate you,
But look at where we are...
There's nothing,
Nothing I can say.
I handed you my words,
And you made them black.
I don't want these fears,
Don't want these tears,
But happiness is far...

Yeah, I miss the warmth I haven't felt,
For a very bitter while.
I miss you, I miss me,
And I really miss your smile.
