Mommy's treat, by beccamarie
|
A little girl with curly blondes
off the big yellow bus and right after her brother
up to the door and into the house
a treat waits inside
Mommy is on my favorite chair
She's home from work
but needs to talk
Beckie send Ty upstairs
little Joey too
I want to talk she says to me
She wants me to sit in her lap
But I'm tne and bigger now
I want to sit on my own
But mommy asks again
So I do what I am told
I climb into her lap
and she holds me tight
she begins to talk
she starts to cry
twenty minutes later
And all i heard was goodbye |
