I try so hard not to cry.
even as these tears roll down my cheeks,
I'm still trying to smile,
for you.
You never wanted me to be sad,
you never wanted me to break like this.
I was always strong for you,
I was yours forever.
Forever was shorter than I thought.
Still as I watched you walk away,
I didnt believe you would leave.
I try but it hurts.
it hurts to remember you,
to remember us,
and what we had.
But I'm to scared to forget.
when it seems like its getting better,
when my tears start to dry.
What I had managed to put together,
falls apart.
I don't think Ill ever get this right.
So I sit here,
and try not to cry.
