Not Perfection, by Austin Hoehn Subscribe to rss feed for Austin Hoehn

I aim for the stars, though they are far,
But I just might hit the sky if I really try,
Though from the beginning I know my goal
I will never reach, but everyday I will draw closer
Then I was the day before, before I reach the golden door
I will know that I enter at my best with more then I came,
For I never stopped for a second and said I can’t, I
always said I can,
For I am not perfection, but I am perfect, perfect for what
I am and for what I do,
But yet I still have away to go, for being perfect for what
lays ahead of me tomorrow,
So I am ready to fight to keep inching my way closer to the
starry light,
So I am ready to fight for my right to be the person I am,
even if that means stretching pass the norms of life
So I am ready to fight to do what is right and follow my
heart that will never leave me without light,
