Conflicted, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

Be my bedside light,
 Be the invading dark,
Put it all together,
 Break it all apart,
Throw me into the rain,
 Hold me in your arms,
Help build me a shelter,
 Then expose me to harm,

Everything's warped and I'm unsure,
Are you blindfolding me just as before?
It's difficult to see past the haze,
Any exit from this lovesick daze?

You don't know I miss you,
Or how sometimes I hate you,
I'll slowly walk away,
Then I'll stop and wait anew,
I'll stand on the edge,
To see if you'll catch me,
But when I start to fall,
 There's no time for hesitancy,

Each mistake leaves my heart with another dent,
It never comes certain, one hundred percent,
I'm willing to stop backing away,
If only you find the words to say.

Pretty good. Different, but good.
