Sweet Silence, by HangmanTheory Subscribe to rss feed for HangmanTheory

I welcome a soft, quiet death;
I crave the fine grains of salvation.
Achievement through just one breath,
I’ll be at peace for the duration.

Eyes are all around me;
My focus darts to and fro.
They all stare upon me;
Oh, how I wish they would go.

I shall rise above all the world,
Seeing the brilliant colors of life.
Into a trance I am hurled;
Protected from Earth’s strife.

Finally everything is clear,
Even though I don’t know how.
I have no more fear.
My time of redemption is now.
