Be With You, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

I don't want to be with you,
If it's just to be with someone,
If it's just something to do,
I don't want to be with you,

I don't want to be with you,
If it's just so you don't feel numb,
If it's just so you're not one but two,
I don't want to be with you,

Words will only get you so far,
Before reason will make you stall,
You're intent on the backseat of your car,
But I won't answer to that call,

If you genuinely want to be with me,
Then I'll need more than words,
Unless there's proof that I can see,
All I know is what I've heard,

I don't want to be with you,
If it's just to be put on display,
If it's just to say what you've been through,
I don't want to be with you,

I don't want to be with you,
If it just gives me a price to pay,
If it's just to be one of few,
Then I don't want to be with you.
