Lost friend I spoke your name in trembled lips., by Stilltraveler
|
Though in the end the pain was numbed.
I still could tell in my heart there was some.
And as the time apart has been long,
I'm left to ponder how I was wrong.
I'm sure I was, I know it well,
yet you were some intoxicating spell.
I found some pics from when we were swell,
hell we were grand & we'd been great.
Yet I'm lost how the life we knew,
never reached a better fate.
I giggle at the times we had,
the joys we shared & love that wasn't spared.
You've taught me much & shaked my soul.
Maybe in another lifetime we will reach our goal. |
