| Mirror, by June Eclipsis |
Stop, stop pushing me
Into the light.
I do not belong here and
I hate its sight.
I felt comfort there, there
In the dark.
I can't breathe, I'm drowning,
I can see the shark,
Slowly approaching me with
It's sharp ivory,
White as snow, yet devilish,
Quite an irony.
my lungs fill with the bright light.
This is not me, I scream with
All my might.
You think I'll be happy, surrounded
In heavenly glory.
It's too bright, it's too strong,
I'm sorry,
Bring me back!!
I loved my old self more.
I loved my tears, my weaknesses, my pain.
I don't want to fight anymore.
I don't need to gain.
My sorrow, my grey,
They're all that I have left.
Don't take them away. |
